    Another challenging development that was fortunately resolved as a major case listing at VCAT. Despite being in a Residential Growth Zone, council refused to entertain our architecturally designed 2& 3 storey design. Fortunately, with expert guidance from the best town planners and traffic engineers at Ratio Consulting, VCAT overturned council’s decision stating that our 5 unit development was a positive contribution to the area and was a perfect fit of the identified future character of the neighbourhood. This was a milestone not only for WCL Development but for all developers in Dandenong as it set a precedent for 3 storey buildings and reduction in visitor car parking space.
